Nicolas

International Client Relations Director, Switzerland

Nicolas joined Cartier in 2020 after having closely worked with the Maison when he was Digital Marketing and CRM Director at Richemont. He is now part of our Client Marketing department, managing the Client Relations team.

Moving from Richemont to Cartier was a natural move for me as I was very attracted by the energy and the creativity of the Maison.

What is the role of your team at Cartier?

The International Client Relations team has a pivotal position within the Maison as it supports the markets in their client relations strategies but also in their daily operations. The team has two main pillars: Client Activation and Client Engagement.

Client Activation looks after outbound contact with our clients. The team manages the activation tools that enable us to send our clients the right content at the right time and through the right channel. Client Engagement looks after inbound contact from our clients. We work with our Client Relations Centers all over the world to reply to all the requests from our clients, whichever way they contact us.

What can you tell us about your colleagues? How do you work together?

I am lucky to have a very diverse team with a lot of different profiles. It is really enriching to benefit from their experience and work and interact with them on a daily basis, even remotely. The people in my team are all experts and very knowledgeable. They are also very keen about change and transformation. They come from different countries and have diverse backgrounds, ranging from agencies to integrators and other luxury players.

Why did you choose to work at Cartier?

I was attracted by the strength of the brand and the creations of Cartier. The history of the Maison is impressive and rich, with many beautiful stories.

What qualities does a candidate need to have to join your team?

Being dedicated, open-minded and results-driven. Our markets expect us to provide them with concrete solutions and frameworks, so we need to be committed to our projects. Communication skills are also very important, as we are the main point of interaction between the markets and other international functions.
